NVS has extended the last date of application to facilitate the candidates who couldn’t apply till the notified last dates owing to various unforseen events, i.e. technical failures due to flood, rain, etc.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has published the most awaited job notification with huge number of vacancies for the recruitment of Assistant Commissioner, Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGTs) & Other Miscellaneous Teachers, Legal Assistant, Female Staff Nurse, Catering Assistant and Lower Division Clerk (LDC). A total of 2370 candidates will be recruited in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Headquarter and Offices of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, all over India.

Eligibility Criteria for PGT, TGT, LDC and Other Posts
Educational Qualification and Experience:
PGT – MA/M.Sc./M.Com with 50% marks or above and B.Ed
TGT – 4 yrs Integrated Degree Course from R.C.E. of NCERT in concerned Subject with atleast 50% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor’s Degree in concerned subjects from Recognized Univ. with at least 50% marks in aggregate. B.Ed from recognised university.
Miscellaneous Category of Teachers (Group – B) – 04 years integrated degree course from Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject (OR) Bachelor Honours degree (OR) Bachelor degree from a recognized board.
Music – Five years study in Music Institution recognized by the concerned State Govt. as equivalent to Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree. OR A Bachelors Degree with Music from a recognized university and B.Ed.
Art – Five years Recognized Diploma in any discipline of Fine Arts as Drawing/ Painting/ Sculpture/ Graphic Arts/ Crafts after passing Secondary Examination (Class X or equivalent) OR Post Graduate Degree in Drawing and Painting, Fine Arts from a recognized University/ Institution.
PET- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from a recognised institution. Or D.P.Ed. from a recognised University/ Institution provided that the admission. qualification for the diploma is atleast qualification for the diploma is atleast a University’s Degree.
